This tour goes through the most monumental cities of central Spain through some excellent secondary roads for riding a motorcycle.

The main characteristic of this tour is its monumental aspect, since it spends the night in cities with a great cultural heritage, such as Salamanca, Toledo, Cuenca and Segovia. In these cities you can visit a large number and variety of monuments, both civil and religious. In fact, in some cities like Toledo, a single afternoon may not be enough, so within our extensions you will find the possibility of adding an extra night, which will allow you to visit the city more calmly.

But we have not forgotten that we are talking about a motorcycle trip, so we have linked these cities through excellent secondary roads, well loaded with curves, (5,889 curves in the basic version of the route), in very good condition of pavement and with very little traffic, since most of this is channelled through the highways, which is Spain, they are free, and that you will not use.

With regard to landscapes, the central zone of Spain is marked by the central mountain range, which separates two great plains; the Castilian plateau to the north and the Mancha to the south. The trip has been planned trying to avoid the flat areas, and therefore it is a trip predominantly on mountain roads, with beautiful forest and mountain landscapes. But the Spanish central system is not too high, so we are not talking about high mountain roads that make the trip difficult. It is for this reason that this tour is ideal for novice pilots or for a quiet trip, although it can also be a lot of fun for more level pilots.

Regarding accommodation, in this area of Spain, full of cultural heritage, you could not miss the historic buildings converted into luxury hotels, and thus, on this tour EVERY night you can stay in historic buildings, such as castles, palaces, fortresses, monasteries or convents.

In the gastronomic aspect, the central area of Spain is famous for its excellent roasts, but you can also find other specialties that will undoubtedly be to your liking.

Toledo, known as the city of the three cultures, since Jews, Christians and Muslims coexisted in it for centuries, in peace and tolerance, it is probably the most monumental city in Spain, since in addition to being the capital of Spain, the three cultures they left a great legacy. For this reason, a rest day to explore it in depth is more than recommended, especially in the middle of the trip.

Extension B

Ciudad Rodrigo is a very beautiful city, where you will also have the opportunity to stay in its 14th century castle. But also including this detour will allow you to travel the excellent roads that are in the border with Portugal and the next day to go deeper into the Sierra de Francia and Las Hurdes. So it is also a highly recommended extension.

This detour will give you the opportunity to extend your trip to the south a bit, going through the excellent mountains of Toledo, a wooded area of special beauty with excellent roads that do not have any traffic.

Extension D

This stopover makes special sense if you are thinking of reaching Valencia, as it will allow you to enjoy excellent roads that it would be impossible to include if you go directly from Toledo to Valencia. But it may also make sense to make this stopover on the way to Cuenca, as this will allow you to get to know some of the fantastic roads that separate Castilla from Valencia.
